Hi,

I just found this website and am starting my weight loss journey.  Sundays will be my weigh in day.  Last sunday, I weighed 133.2kg.  I have such a long way to go, but I will do it.  I want my body back.  Its time to show my body whose the boss.  Hopefully, I will have a loss tomorrow.

Well, today was 133.1kg.  So basically, I remained the same weight.  Its not really surprising since my light bulb moment was yesterday when I saw my BMI.  Things are changing this week, despite xmas.

A one kg increase over christmas isn't so bad.  I read somewhere that people often put on 3kgs!!

Hmmm........ That doesn't surprise me, Curvygal.

I did, however, make amens.  On the 4/1/2009, I weighed 132.6 kg.  This is a loss of 1.5 kg.  I was sooooo happy.  I hopped on the scales on New Year's Day and my weight had gone to 135.0 kg.  I am not looking at these numbers again.  I am determined.

My weight on the 18th of January was 130.8kg.

I understand that this is the point that everything becomes harder.  Never mind, though.  I'm stepping up the exercise.  I have joined an aquatic centre and gym around the corner from where I live.  I am so excited by the prospect of getting my fitness back that I can't sit still.  It is driving my husband up the wall.

Well, I haven't posted for a while, but I am still going strong.  I joined a local gym and aquatic centre and am finding that it is so firmly ingrained in my attitude that I cannot sleep unless I have done adequate exercise.  I am feeling so proud of myself.

My weights are:-

25/1/2009 - 130.6kg

1/2/2009 - 129.6kg

Yep, well done Spacey...   it's true, it's great once you enjoy your exercising - plus it gets quite addictive after a while, and you'll be on a losing streak.

This week resulted in a little plateau, but, it had to happen.  I am just going to do what I do and all will work out.

I haven't posted for a while, but I am doing really well.  The weights are as follows.

24/2/09 - 126.5kg

1/3/09 - 124.9kg

I have now passed a loss of 10 kg and I am loving the new level of fitness that I am finding on my journey.

Well, I'm back for the latest update.

8/3/09 - 124.0kg

That takes the total up to 11 kg (24.2 pounds) since the beginning of the year.  I have a long way to go, but what a positive start to a long journey.  I am so proud of myself.

Well, it is fair to say that I am working my arse off at the moment.  I spend one to three hours at the gym, five days a week.  I watch every skerrick of food that goes into my mouth.  And all I can say is that it is working.  I have now lost 12 kg (26.2 pounds) in 12 weeks, which is exactly where I want my weight loss.  I must also be building a lot of lean muscle as I have lost 16cm around my waist and 7cm around the top of my thighs.  I can't believe it.  My fitness level has picked up to an amazing level compared to what it was and I feel fantastic.  I am never going back.  I am never going to let myself down again.

Well, I have not posted for a little while.  I slipped into old habits and lost control.  I have, however, regained my composure and have, again, lost.  My weight this morning was 121.8kg.  This is the lightest I have been in 5 years.

Thanks and keep it up!

Ummm ..................... I think the best way to describe it is an overhaul of lifestyle and attitude.  I go to the gym/aquatic centre 5 days a week.  I do just about any form of exercise I can get my hands on, whether it be weights, deep aqua, body combat, swimming laps, boxing and yoga.  It has just become part of my life.  Of course, this wouldn't work without attention to diet.  I am doing weight watchers and religiously track what I eat.  I think the whole weight loss journey is about self-belief, commitment, exercise and diet.  I am not scared of the long term because I know that I can maintain this forever.

Well, I have not posted in a while.  I have been under a lot of stress and lost a bit of motivation.  I am working on how I can change this.  My current weight is 120kg exactly.

It has been a long time.  I have been under a huge amount of stress.  We had a lot of family issues and my weight became the least of my problems.  Things are getting better now.  I am, however, finding it hard to find the motivation to continue my weight loss journey.  There is a good chance that this thread will become a bit of a blog.  My current weight is 127.6kg.  My first goal is to reach 125kg in three weeks.  I am hoping that by posting online, I will actually find some accountability and work out my motivational issues, as far as sticking to a controlled lifestyle.  This is such a long journey and there are soooo many lessons to learn.

Well, the last few weeks since my last few weeks have been a journey.  I am a severe binge eater.  My weight went up to 129.5kg.  I have since gained control and this morning weighed 127.4kg.  I am proud of myself.  I am mentally back in the game.  I am losing weight and I feel happy, focused and in control.  The next step is to keep losing and to allow my inner happiness and self-confidence to grow.
