Hi Guys,

I am new to the forum. I am 23 years old and currently weigh 79kg. My gold weight is 60kg...so i need to lose 19kgs! After having read everyone elses posts I feel abit stupid being in here as everyone else is over 100kg!. A few years ago when i met my current partner I weighted just 56kg and this was the perfect weight for me....I though I was fat then  I dont fit into any of my clothes anymore and need to buy a whole new waredrobe but I refuse!!!

I am cutting out alot of fatty foods and giving myself smaller serves when it comes to breakfast and dinner. I am now eating salads for lunch (YUK!) but adding boild egg and chicken to make it better. I am excersing everyday, something which i have never done in my life!...I am power walking and going swimming.

Mum told me she is going to weigh me everyweek so I better be good!

3/11/09 - 79kg

Am I allowed to post here or is this just your little online diary type thing? PM me and I can delete my post if it is...

I'm currently 86kg and my goal weight is 50-60kg as I'm ultra short. I'm hoping you are too otherwise I would be tempted to say your goal is not a safe one?

Good work on the weight loss, keep it up

CharliDaisi good luck on your goal weight!

I have been told between 60-65kg is where I should be. I am 170cm, medium frame. I used to be 58kg a couple of years ago, and i felt i was the perfect weight then. I think low 60's is good for me.

Update

I have cut out the salad lunches and changed it to a  wholemeal, multigrain sandwich with chicken and salad on it, i couldnt do the pure salads anymore, it was making me depressed.

Friday nights is my "bad" night....mmmm PIZZA! This is the only night I am allowed to eat fatty, good tasting food!

Dinner is still cut down a fair bit and everynight I am going for a jog and doing 50 situps...i only used to be able to do 5!  Last Saturday morning i went for a 2 hr walk/jog in 35deg heat!

I am going swimming twice a week and doing about 1 hr's worth of laps.

I have lost weight although my stomach still looks like im pregnant....need to keep trying to get rid of this!

If you are looking to lose weight I have found, LOTS OF EXERCISE and good food is the way to go...there is no easy way out and COUNT YOUR CALORIES!
