Hi Everyone!

I'm very impressed with this website. I intend on getting acclimated to it and using it to the max! I'm 52 years old as of Halloween. I had success in weight loss about 4 years ago going from 295 to down 212 in about 5 months. I did it on my own plan....never consulted with anyone..just used my own common sense.

Used chicken breast salads for lunch and dinner and meal replacement bars for mid-morning and mid evening and even late night if necessary. Just like most folks, I slipped and gained back about 30lbs over about 1 1/2 years. I have already started retracing my steps to success. Somehow, though, it seems HARDER. My GOAL is 185lbs.

I now wiegh 230. I work out 60 minutes on cardio burning consistently 750 calories over 6 days. I wieght lift about 30 minutes every other day. My intake is about 1516 calories according to the WebMD diet chart I did. Now....I need to motivate myself to press on and do whatever it takes to get down to 185. ANY SUGGESTIONS would be appreciated and seriously considered......thank you!!

Just a followup. I don't know the nomenclature here on posting starting wieght, goal wieght, todays weight, etc. but to update my "condition", I weight 245 exactly six foot tall and medium boned. My GOAL is 185 lbs in about 5 months. I've got some questions about the correct portioning of protein to fat to carbs in one's diet.
