If we want to remain healthy, can we eat fruits and vegetables alone? let say we don't want to eat meat, just fruit and vegetables, can we also enjoy an active lifestyle without feeling tired and weak?

Absolutely, you can live a healthy life even being a vegetarian but you also need to keep in mind that there are some nutrients that are only found in meat like certain amino acids that are very helpful in building and maintaining muscles. A well balanced diet with a good mix of fruits, vegetables, meat and dairy products will work even better.

Hi,

I also agree with ambetious. There are proteins and amino acids that you can get from eating meat. However, if you really don't eat meat. You can always go for fish.

If you have been a vegetarian for a while and you don't feel tired or weak, then there's nothing wrong with veggies and fruits as a diet.

To make sure, you can also consult with your nutritionist just to be sure on what you should do and what you need and what can replace meat into your diet. :)

The fruit and vegetable diet will not work. This is because
your leaving out all the other elements to the balanced
diet, which will allow you to lose more weight as it
increases your metabolism. Stick to a balanced diet and
some exercise :)

You can pretty much eat anything and lose weight. As long as you are eating less calories than you burn off. But I hope you don't continue to do so. This is not the healthy way to lose weight.

Sure but have fun being in the hospital for 4 months when nobody can see how skinny you are.. You need to add some kind of protein so that you can create muscle or else you wont be able to walk. Also carbs(not to much just a little) give you energy and without it you wouldnt be able to get out of bed.

Both are most useful in our life. Fruits and vegetables are packed with vitamins and minerals  that can improve your health and prevent disease. we can get vitamin c and vitamin a from the vegetables.
